At The Service Center, we feel extremely committed to safety and compliance and we spend a significant amount of time and resources to ensure we are safe and 100% compliant. Without question, I can tell you that this is our number one priority. We maintain a full-time dedicated Quality and Compliance Officer named J.P. Deaton. J.P. is responsible for Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to assure that we are providing our products and services with the upmost quality, safety, and compliance. In addition to providing compliance guidance and oversight at The Service Center, J.P. also assists our customers as an additional compliance resource. Areas of expertise include the following:

  • All parts of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations as it pertains to medical oxygen regulations (including CGMP)
  • Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations as it pertains to transportation, handling and storage of oxygen along with requalification of medical oxygen cylinders
  • Fresh Air 2000
  • U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations

Compliance and Training Services Offered

  • Available to answer your questions pertaining to Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
  • Perform FDA oxygen compliance review and assessment
  • Perform DOT compliance review and assessment
  • Assist in understanding agency regulations and technical standards.
  • Conduct Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) training
  • Perform oxygen and oxygen equipment related in-services and training
